Accountant App Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Accountant App, a mobile application published by Jilan Apps ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Accountant App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
1. License to Use
Jilan Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use Accountant App for lawful personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the App itself without authorization.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain the App's source code except where permitted by applicable law.
Circumvent subscriptions, purchases, security measures, access controls, or technical restrictions.
Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the App.
Use Accountant App for fraudulent, unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activities.
2. Accountant App Services
Accountant App provides tools that may help users organize, record, calculate, manage, and review business and accounting information.
Depending on available functionality, the App may provide tools for:
Income tracking
Expense tracking
Transaction management
Invoice creation
Customer and client management
Vendor management
Payment records
Receipts
Financial summaries
Profit and loss information

Available functionality may vary depending on the App version, device, operating system, subscription status, internet connectivity, geographic availability, and technical requirements.
3. User Financial and Business Data
Accountant App may allow you to create, enter, import, store, organize, or manage financial and business information.

Account balances
Invoice information

Customer information

You remain responsible for information you enter or import into Accountant App.
You are responsible for ensuring that such information is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your intended use.
4. Client, Customer and Vendor Information
Accountant App may allow you to store information relating to clients, customers, suppliers, or vendors.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have any permission or lawful basis required to collect, store, or otherwise process another person's information through Accountant App.
You must handle such information in accordance with applicable privacy, data-protection, business, and other legal requirements.
5. Invoices and Business Documents
Accountant App may allow you to create, manage, save, export, print, or share:
Invoices
Estimates
Receipts
Statements
Financial reports
Transaction reports
Business documents
Other accounting-related records
You are responsible for reviewing all documents before issuing, sharing, submitting, or relying on them.
Jilan Apps does not guarantee that a document generated through Accountant App satisfies every accounting, tax, invoicing, regulatory, or legal requirement applicable in your jurisdiction.
6. Calculations and Financial Reports
Accountant App may automatically calculate or display information such as:
Totals
Subtotals
Taxes
Discounts
Balances
Income
Expenses
Profit or loss
Financial summaries
Other calculated values
While we aim to provide reliable functionality, calculations may be affected by user input, configuration, rounding, software limitations, or other factors.
You are responsible for independently verifying important calculations and financial information before relying on them.
7. No Professional Accounting or Tax Advice
Accountant App is a software tool intended to assist with organizing and managing accounting and business information.
The App does not provide professional:
Accounting advice
Tax advice
Legal advice
Investment advice
Banking advice
Financial planning advice
Auditing services
Information, calculations, summaries, reports, or other outputs provided through Accountant App should not be considered a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Where appropriate, you should consult a qualified accountant, tax professional, lawyer, financial adviser, or other relevant professional.
8. Tax Information
Tax laws, tax rates, reporting requirements, filing requirements, deductions, exemptions, and accounting standards vary between jurisdictions and may change over time.
Accountant App does not guarantee that tax-related calculations, categories, reports, or other information comply with the requirements applicable to you or your business.
You are responsible for:
Determining applicable taxes.
Entering appropriate tax rates.
Verifying tax calculations.
Maintaining legally required records.
Filing required returns or reports.
Paying applicable taxes.
Obtaining professional advice where necessary.
9. User Content and Ownership
As between you and Jilan Apps, you retain your rights in original business information, accounting records, invoices, receipts, customer information, documents, and other content you create or provide through Accountant App, subject to applicable third-party rights.
Using Accountant App does not transfer ownership of your original business or accounting information to Jilan Apps.
Where processing is necessary to provide requested App functionality, you grant Jilan Apps a limited license to process, reproduce, transmit, modify, or temporarily store such content solely as reasonably necessary to provide that functionality.
10. Receipts, Images and Documents
Where supported, Accountant App may allow you to capture, upload, import, attach, save, or process receipts, invoices, photos, documents, or files.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
You have permission to use imported materials.
Documents are accurate and complete.
Important original documents are retained where required.
Imported information is reviewed before being used for accounting or tax purposes.
Accountant App should not be treated as the sole permanent storage location for legally or financially important documents.
11. Data Storage and Backups
Certain accounting records, documents, settings, or other information may be stored locally on your device.
Where available, Accountant App may also provide cloud backup or synchronization functionality.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important business and financial information.
Deleting the App, clearing App data, deleting records, changing devices, resetting your device, storage corruption, device failure, or other technical events may result in loss of locally stored information.
Jilan Apps does not guarantee recovery of information that has been deleted, corrupted, or otherwise lost.
12. Exporting and Sharing Information
Accountant App may allow you to export or share invoices, reports, receipts, financial summaries, or other business information.
You are responsible for:
Reviewing exported information.
Selecting appropriate recipients.
Protecting confidential financial information.
Ensuring exported records meet your legal or business requirements.
When you share information through email, messaging services, cloud storage, or another third-party platform, your use of that platform is subject to its own terms and policies.
13. Account and Device Security
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any account credentials associated with Accountant App.
We recommend appropriate security measures, particularly where the App contains confidential financial or business information.
You should not intentionally store highly sensitive authentication credentials in ordinary accounting fields, including:
Online banking passwords
Card PINs
One-time passwords
Security codes
Private authentication credentials
Jilan Apps is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to reasonably protect your device, credentials, or exported information.
14. Intellectual Property
Accountant App, including its software, interface, branding, icons, graphics, code, databases, designs, proprietary templates, and other materials provided by Jilan Apps, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license granted under these Terms, no ownership rights in Accountant App are transferred to you.
Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Purchases and Subscriptions
Accountant App may offer premium functionality through subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Premium functionality may include additional accounting tools, reports, invoice functionality, exports, business-management tools, cloud functionality, or other premium features.
Prices, billing periods, available plans, and included functionality will be displayed through the applicable purchase interface before you complete a transaction.
Where auto-renewable subscriptions are offered:
Payment is processed through the applicable app marketplace.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled according to the applicable store's rules.
The applicable price and subscription duration are displayed before purchase.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your applicable app store account.
Deleting or uninstalling Accountant App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Following cancellation, premium access may generally continue until the end of the applicable paid subscription period, subject to the relevant app store's rules.
Refund eligibility is generally determined according to the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.
If a free trial or promotional offer is available, its duration, eligibility, and applicable post-trial pricing will be presented through the relevant purchase interface.
16. Third-Party Services
Accountant App may rely on third-party technologies and services.
These may include, where applicable:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Remote Config
Apple App Store services
Cloud storage or backup providers
Other technical service providers
Third-party services operate according to their respective terms, policies, technical limitations, and availability.
Jilan Apps does not control all aspects of third-party services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
17. Advertising
Accountant App may display advertisements where applicable.
Advertisements may be delivered by third-party advertising providers.
Jilan Apps is not responsible for products, services, websites, claims, or content offered by third-party advertisers.
Any interaction or transaction between you and an advertiser is between you and the relevant third party.
18. Internet and Data Usage
Some Accountant App functionality may require an active internet connection.
You acknowledge that:
Certain features may not work offline.
Cloud backup or synchronization may require internet access.
Internet or mobile data charges may apply.
Network interruptions may temporarily prevent certain functionality.
Third-party services may experience outages or delays.
Jilan Apps is not responsible for charges imposed by your internet or mobile service provider.
19. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Using Accountant App in accordance with applicable laws.
Providing accurate financial and business information.
Reviewing calculations and reports.
Verifying invoices before issuing them.
Maintaining legally required financial records.
Maintaining appropriate backups.
Protecting confidential information.
Obtaining appropriate permission for customer or vendor information.
Meeting applicable tax and accounting obligations.
Consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.
20. Updates and Modifications
We may release:
New accounting features
Invoice improvements
Reporting tools
Security improvements
Bug fixes
Performance improvements
Compatibility updates
Other functionality
Certain functionality may require the latest version of Accountant App.
We may modify, replace, restrict, or discontinue features where permitted by applicable law.
21. Availability
We aim to provide reliable access to Accountant App but do not guarantee that the App or every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Availability may be affected by:
Maintenance
Internet connectivity
Server outages
Third-party providers
Device compatibility
Operating system changes
Technical problems
Events outside our reasonable control
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Accountant App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
Every calculation will always be error-free.
Financial reports will satisfy every accounting requirement.
Tax calculations will comply with every jurisdiction.
Every invoice will meet all applicable legal requirements.
Locally stored information will always be recoverable.
Third-party services will always remain available.
Use of Accountant App will produce any particular financial, tax, accounting, or business outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jilan Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:
Use of or inability to use Accountant App.
Incorrect user-entered information.
Errors in calculations, reports, invoices, or summaries.
Tax or accounting decisions based on App output.
Loss or corruption of financial records or documents.
Unauthorized access resulting from inadequate device or credential security.
Third-party services.
Service interruptions.
Loss of revenue, profits, business opportunities, or data.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
24. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Accountant App or particular services where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
Violation of these Terms
Fraud or abuse
Security risks
Illegal activity
Attempts to bypass subscriptions or technical restrictions
Misuse of our systems or services
Upon termination, your right to use affected services may cease.
25. Privacy
Your use of Accountant App is also subject to the Accountant App Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, processed, shared, retained, and protected.

26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in Accountant App, available functionality, technology, applicable laws, service providers, or our business practices.

Your continued use of Accountant App after revised Terms become applicable constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed and interpreted according to the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Jilan Apps operates, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country or region.
