Terms of use Floor Plan
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Floor Plan, a mobile application published by Jilan Apps ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Floor Plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
1. License to Use
Jilan Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use Floor Plan for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the App itself without authorization.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain the App's source code except where permitted by applicable law.
Circumvent security, subscriptions, purchases, access controls, or technical restrictions.
Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the App.
Use Floor Plan for fraudulent, illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activities.
2. Floor Plan Services
Floor Plan provides tools that may enable users to create, draw, edit, customize, measure, visualize, save, manage, export, or share floor plans and related designs.
Depending on available functionality, the App may provide tools relating to:
Floor plan creation
Room layouts
Room dimensions
Measurements
Walls
Doors and windows
Furniture placement
Interior layouts
Design elements
Project visualization
Project saving and exporting
Other planning and design functionality
Available functionality may vary depending on:
App version
Device or operating system
Device capabilities
Internet connectivity
Subscription or purchase status
Third-party services
Geographic availability
Technical requirements
We may improve, modify, add, or discontinue features where permitted by applicable law.
3. User Projects and Content
Floor Plan may allow you to create, import, edit, save, or export content, including:
Floor plans
Room layouts
Measurements
Dimensions
Images and reference photos
Furniture layouts
Text and labels
Project files
Design configurations
Other user-created materials
You remain responsible for content you create, upload, import, edit, or otherwise provide through Floor Plan.
You represent that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use any content you provide to the App.
You must not use content that:
Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
Violates privacy or publicity rights.
Contains unlawful or malicious material.
Is fraudulent or intentionally deceptive.
Violates applicable laws or regulations.
4. Ownership of User Content
As between you and Jilan Apps, you retain your rights in original floor plans, designs, images, project information, and other content that you create or provide through Floor Plan, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
Using Floor Plan does not transfer ownership of your original user-created content to Jilan Apps.
Where processing of your content is necessary to provide App functionality, you grant Jilan Apps a limited license to process, reproduce, modify, transmit, or temporarily store that content solely as reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality.
You remain responsible for verifying that your finished project or output can legally be used, distributed, published, or commercially exploited for your intended purpose.
5. Measurements and Dimensions
Floor Plan may provide tools for entering, calculating, displaying, estimating, or managing measurements and dimensions.
Measurements may include:
Room dimensions
Wall lengths
Floor areas
Object dimensions
Distances
Other measurements related to a project
While we aim to provide useful and reliable functionality, measurements, dimensions, calculations, estimates, or automatically generated values may not always be exact.
You are responsible for independently verifying important measurements before using them for real-world purposes.
Do not rely solely on measurements produced or displayed by Floor Plan where inaccurate measurements could result in property damage, financial loss, construction problems, safety risks, or other significant consequences.
6. Not Professional Architectural or Engineering Advice
Floor Plan is intended as a planning, visualization, and design tool.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Floor Plan does not provide professional:
Architectural advice
Engineering advice
Structural engineering services
Surveying services
Construction certification
Building-code approval
Electrical engineering advice
Plumbing engineering advice
Safety certification
Floor plans, layouts, measurements, visualizations, calculations, or other outputs produced through the App should not be treated as professionally certified construction documents.
For construction, structural modification, permitting, safety-critical work, or other professional applications, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional where required.
7. Accuracy of Designs and Visualizations
Floor Plan may provide two-dimensional or three-dimensional representations, previews, renders, layouts, or other visualizations.
Such visualizations are intended to assist with planning and design and may not perfectly represent real-world dimensions, appearance, materials, lighting, scale, structural conditions, or final construction results.
Actual results may differ from designs or visualizations displayed through the App.
8. Photos, Camera and Imported Materials
Where supported, Floor Plan may allow you to capture or import photos, images, documents, or other reference materials.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any material you import.
You must not knowingly import content that violates another person's copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
Camera-based, image-based, or automated measurements and interpretations may be affected by lighting, camera quality, device sensors, perspective, environmental conditions, and other technical factors.
You should independently verify important results.
9. Intellectual Property
Floor Plan, including its software, interface, design, branding, icons, graphics, code, databases, tools, templates owned by Jilan Apps, and other materials provided by Jilan Apps, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership rights in Floor Plan are transferred to you.
Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Purchases and Subscriptions
Floor Plan may offer premium functionality through subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Prices, billing periods, available plans, and included functionality will be displayed through the applicable purchase interface before you complete a transaction.
Where auto-renewable subscriptions are offered:
Payment is processed through the applicable app store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled according to the applicable store's rules.
Subscription price and billing period are presented before purchase.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your applicable app store account.
Deleting or uninstalling Floor Plan does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
After cancellation, premium access may generally remain available until the end of the applicable paid billing period, subject to the relevant app store's rules.
Refund eligibility is generally determined according to the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.
If a free trial or promotional offer is available, its duration, eligibility, and applicable post-trial pricing will be presented through the relevant purchase interface.
11. Third-Party Services
Floor Plan may rely on third-party technologies and services.
These may include, where applicable:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Remote Config
Apple App Store services
Cloud infrastructure providers
Other technical service providers
Third-party services operate according to their respective terms, policies, technical limitations, and availability.
Jilan Apps does not control all aspects of third-party services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
12. Advertising
Floor Plan may display advertisements where applicable.
Advertisements may be delivered by third-party advertising providers.
Jilan Apps is not responsible for products, services, websites, claims, or content offered by third-party advertisers.
Any interaction or transaction between you and an advertiser is between you and the relevant third party.
13. Internet and Data Usage
Some Floor Plan functionality may require an active internet connection.
You acknowledge that:
Certain features may not work offline.
Internet or mobile data charges may apply.
Cloud-based features may depend on external servers.
Network interruptions may temporarily prevent certain functionality.
Uploading or downloading project files may consume data.
Jilan Apps is not responsible for charges imposed by your internet or mobile service provider.
14. Local Projects, Storage and Backups
Floor Plan may store projects or related information locally on your device.
You are responsible for keeping appropriate backups of important projects and exported files.
Deleting the App, clearing App data, deleting project files, changing devices, resetting your device, device failure, operating system changes, or other technical events may result in loss of locally stored projects or content.
Jilan Apps does not guarantee recovery of locally stored projects after deletion, corruption, or data loss.
15. Exporting and Sharing Projects
Floor Plan may allow you to save, export, print, or share floor plans, images, designs, project files, or other content.
Export formats, quality, dimensions, resolution, compatibility, and other characteristics may vary depending on:
Selected settings
Device capabilities
App version
Project complexity
Operating system limitations
Technical requirements
When you share content through another application, cloud service, messaging platform, or other third-party service, your use of that service is subject to its own terms and policies.
16. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Using Floor Plan in accordance with applicable laws.
Maintaining the security of your device.
Protecting account credentials where accounts are available.
Keeping backups of important projects.
Verifying important measurements and dimensions.
Reviewing projects before relying on or distributing them.
Ensuring imported content does not violate third-party rights.
Obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
Complying with applicable building, construction, zoning, permitting, safety, or other requirements relevant to your project.
17. Building Codes and Regulatory Requirements
Building codes, planning requirements, accessibility standards, zoning rules, permitting requirements, and construction regulations may vary by country, state, city, municipality, and project type.
Floor Plan does not guarantee that a design created through the App complies with any particular building code, regulation, permit requirement, professional standard, or safety requirement.
You are responsible for verifying applicable requirements with qualified professionals or relevant authorities before undertaking real-world construction or modification.
18. Updates and Modifications
We may release:
Feature updates
New design tools
New objects or templates
Security improvements
Bug fixes
Performance improvements
Compatibility updates
Other functionality
Certain features may require the latest version of Floor Plan.
We may modify or discontinue features where permitted by applicable law.
19. Availability
We aim to provide reliable access to Floor Plan but do not guarantee that the App or every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Availability may be affected by:
Maintenance
Internet connectivity
Server outages
Third-party providers
Device compatibility
Operating system changes
Hardware limitations
Technical problems
Events outside our reasonable control
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Floor Plan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
Measurements will always be perfectly accurate.
Calculations will always be error-free.
Every design will be technically or structurally feasible.
Every project will comply with applicable building codes or regulations.
Every project will be recoverable if local data is lost.
Every export will work with every third-party application or service.
Visualizations will exactly represent final real-world results.
Use of Floor Plan will result in any particular construction, design, financial, or commercial outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jilan Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:
Use of or inability to use Floor Plan.
Inaccurate measurements or dimensions.
Errors in floor plans, calculations, layouts, or visualizations.
Loss or corruption of projects or content.
Construction, renovation, furnishing, or purchasing decisions based on App output.
Third-party services or platforms.
Service interruptions.
Loss of revenue, profits, business opportunities, property, or data.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
22. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Floor Plan or particular services where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
Violation of these Terms
Fraud or abuse
Security risks
Illegal activity
Attempts to bypass subscriptions or technical restrictions
Misuse of our systems or services
Upon termination, your right to use affected services may cease.
23. Privacy
Your use of Floor Plan is also subject to the Floor Plan Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, processed, shared, and protected.
Please review the Privacy Policy before using the App.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in Floor Plan, available functionality, technology, applicable laws, service providers, or our business practices.
When appropriate, revised Terms will be made available through the App or relevant policy page.
Your continued use of Floor Plan after revised Terms become applicable constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed and interpreted according to the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Jilan Apps operates, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country or region.
